On July 15, we celebrate Ukrainian Statehood Day — a holiday that symbolizes more than a thousand years of Ukrainian state-building, cultural continuity, and national unity.
This date coincides with the Day of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus–Ukraine and the commemoration of Prince Volodymyr the Great — a visionary ruler, reformer, and the baptizer of Kyivan Rus. His leadership marked the beginning of Christian traditions and the strengthening of statehood on Ukrainian lands.

The purpose of the holiday is to remind Ukrainians and the world that our statehood is deeply rooted in history — going all the way back to Kyivan Rus.
ETU proudly supports the ideas of continuity, identity, and growth — both in cutting-edge technologies and in core national values.
